Prevention, Assessment and Restoration
Get Ahead of Workplace Issues. Understand Your Culture. Rebuild What Matters.
If your organization is experiencing any of the following, I can help. When workplace dysfunction goes unaddressed, it erodes trust, morale, and productivity. I help organizations get ahead of these issues through proactive prevention programming, understand what is happening beneath the surface through assessment, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier culture through restoration.
Prevention is now where most of my work begins. Strong, well-designed prevention programs reduce harm before it takes hold and save organizations from the cost, conflict, and disruption of late-stage intervention.
Prevention Programs
Prevention is where most of my current work lives, and for good reason. Organizations that invest in prevention spend far less time, money, and energy responding to harm later. I design and deliver prevention programming tailored to the realities of your workplace, not generic compliance training pulled off a shelf.
This work includes harassment and violence prevention programs, respectful workplace training, policy review and crafting, leadership coaching on early intervention, and support for building internal capacity so concerns are addressed when they are still small. Prevention also means helping leaders recognize the early warning signs of toxic conflict culture and giving them practical tools to respond.
A prevention engagement begins with a conversation about your organization, your industry, and the specific risks you face. From there, I customize the programming to your context, sit down with leadership and staff, and deliver training and coaching in a way that fits your culture and schedule. I follow up to make sure what was learned is actually being practiced, and I remain available for questions long after the session ends.
What organizations walk away with is concrete: clear policies that meet legislative requirements, leaders who know how to spot and address concerns early, employees who understand what respectful workplace behaviour looks like in practice, and reporting pathways people will actually use. The result is internal capacity that does not disappear when I leave the room.
The cost of one investigation, one wrongful dismissal claim, or the quiet departure of a high performer almost always exceeds the cost of preventing the issue in the first place. Strong prevention programming protects employees, supports retention, and gives organizations a defensible foundation when concerns do arise. It is the most cost-effective and humane investment an organization can make in its people.
Workplace Assessments
I conduct qualitative assessments through conversational interviews with various members of an organization. The interviews are designed to collect data from the organization's members across multiple levels of seniority throughout the organizational chart.
I use the information collected to examine the workplace culture and assess the working environment. Together, we review policies, procedures, existing systems, and implementation processes to determine the causes of workplace dysfunction. I review both successes and failures to improve quality.
The data collected helps ascertain the causes of toxic conflict culture and provides insight into the changes needed for wellness and a safe workplace. This is not a checklist exercise, it is a deep, qualitative process that respects the lived experience of the people within your organization.
Workplace Restoration
Workplace restoration is crucial for fostering a healthy and positive organizational environment. It means addressing conflicts, improving communication, and rebuilding employee trust from the ground up.
Restoration helps re-establish a sense of fairness and equity, creates a more inclusive workplace culture, and ultimately enhances overall employee satisfaction and productivity.
In a workplace setting, restoration is essential for maintaining a conducive and harmonious atmosphere, leading to improved collaboration and a more resilient, effective workforce.
Who This Is For
If your organization is experiencing any of the following, I can help. These signals rarely show up in isolation. They tend to cluster, and once they take hold they get harder and more expensive to address. A prevention program can stop these issues from taking root, an assessment can uncover the underlying causes, and a restoration plan can chart the path forward. The earlier you reach out, the more options you have, and the less disruption your team will feel.
