Third-Party Services
Fonts and images are self-hosted on the same origin as this Website. The Website uses the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Used to understand how visitors interact with the site so that I can improve content and user experience. The Google Analytics tag (
gtag.js) is loaded fromgoogletagmanager.comon every page; it sends pseudonymous usage events (page views, session duration, device type, approximate location at country/region level) to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses by default. Google may store and process this data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. Google acts as a data processor under its own terms and privacy policy. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by enabling Do Not Track or your browser’s tracking-protection feature, or by blocking cookies for this site. - Amazon Web Services (AWS Canada, ca-central-1). When you submit the contact form, the data you provide is transmitted over HTTPS to a contact-form processing service hosted on AWS in Canada. The service forwards your submission to me by email and is operated under an agreement that limits use of your information to delivery of your message. AWS Canada acts as a data processor on my behalf in accordance with PIPEDA. No form data is shared with advertising or analytics providers.
I do not sell or share personal information with advertising networks or data brokers.
Cookies
The Website uses a small number of cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to identify unique visitors and measure traffic patterns. No advertising or marketing cookies are set.

Data Retention
I retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. Specific retention periods by category:
- Contact form submissions that do not lead to an engagement: 12 months from the date of submission, then deleted.
- Contact form submissions that do lead to an engagement: retained for the life of the engagement and then governed by the separate professional services agreement, not by this policy.
- Web server logs (IP, browser, referrer): retained by the hosting provider for up to 90 days for security and diagnostics, then automatically rotated.
- Email correspondence: retained for 24 months, unless a longer period is required by professional or legal obligations.
You may request earlier deletion at any time using the contact details below; I will comply unless retention is required by law or by a binding professional obligation.
Data Storage & Security
I take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- Secure transmission of data via HTTPS encryption.
- Limiting access to personal information to only those who need it to respond to your inquiry.
- Regularly reviewing and updating security practices.
